Bruce Gates

The Gates Catalysis Research Group works to gain a fundamental understanding of the structure and function of structurally well-defined catalysts. His work combines state-of-the-art characterization by synchrotron methods, atomic-resolution electron microscopy and various spectroscopic methods to gain a fundamental understanding and develop predictive (design) capabilities.
